Is “Online” Restoration right for me?
Online data is easily retrievable by you. We can transfer your data to the cloud for you to download or to a hard drive you can plug into your computer. You can get your data back at your fingertips!
STEP 1
Mail us your BRU PE or Argest tapes (+ optional empty hard drives for us to restore the data to)
STEP 2
We contact you verifying the data we retrieved from the tapes with screenshots.
STEP 3
We transfer your data to the hard drives you mailed us (we can supply hard drives for an additional cost) or the cloud for you to download.
STEP 4
We mail you back your original tapes and hard drives. If you elected to have your data restored to the cloud, we send you download instructions and return your tapes to you.
FAQ’s
Which Generations of LTO Tape do you accept?
We accept data mailed on LTO Generations 1-8 (including M8). We can make special arrangements to accept Generation 9 tapes.
Will I recieve a hard drive formated as Mac/PC/Linux?
We can return a hard drive to you in your preferred format: Mac (APFS/HFS+), Windows (NTFS/ExFAT), or Linux (Ext4, XFS)
What cloud transfer methods do you offer?
We can transfer to S3 compatible storage or, for small transfers, Dropbox or FTP/SFTP.

I have a lot of data, can you transfer it to a NAS?
We can transfer your data to your supplied NAS assuming it supports 10Gbe over ethernet or fiber.
If you have a TrueNAS or FreeNAS based system there is no need to mail the NAS. Simply send us the hard drives.
